The building is developed based on the idea of the part-to-whole relationship of an object - the nested puzzle. The two nested splines that bring together the two parts of the puzzle allow the architecture to be explored through both the rotational movement of the object as well as the building circulation.

In the puzzle, the spline behaves like a lock to bring the parts together.
In architecture, the spline is translated into a series of circulatory elements.

The formal qualities of the puzzle mechanism, as well as its assembly sequence, manifest another way of interpreting spatial arrangements and part-to-whole relationships.
