The relief puzzle is designed with layers of hidden mechanisms. A series of tessellated tiles are connected from corners to corners to suggest a continuous field that it occupies. The disassembly requires the top pieces to be rotated out and overlap with their neighbors before being lifted up. Once top layers are removed, the underlying pieces can slide out, and the tiles can be disassembled at last.

Developing the object through architecture, the puzzle can be thought of as a movable facade.
